Residents & contractors are encouraged to apply for building permits & register online. Application and registration forms are available below.
Applicants may also call City Hall at 903-786-2281 extn. 1 for additional information. Forms can be emailed to the Permitting Clerk.

- Contractor registration and licensing
- Ensuring that all construction occurs in accordance with all applicable laws, ordinances and building codes
- Issuing permits for construction, renovation, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), certificates of occupancy and signs
- Maintenance and enforcement of all development-related ordinances
- Permitting can also answer any questions you may have regarding businesses and developing new & existing properties.
- Working with appointed boards, commissions and committees to ensure development-related issues are resolved in an expedient and professional manner
- The City of Pottsboro Code of Ordinances including the Appendix “A” - Fee Schedule
