New Billing Software - Update 

Billing Software has been installed and bills were posted on June 30. All payments received will be applied with no late charges.

The City Council approved an amendment to the Code of Ordinances on July 6, 2026 changing all customers to one billing cycle per month. All bills will be sent out on the 19th day of the month and will be due on the 1st day of the next month. There will now be a 5-day grace period to pay with no late charges assessed if paid before the 6th. Please contact City Hall if you have questions. See Ordinance No. 1524 below.

Texoma Council of Governments is now accepting applications for the Low-Income Housing Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP). Keep in mind that this program currently serves citizens that are currently disconnected or have a pending disconnection notice for water services. Customers can apply online or download an application packet by visiting their website: www.tcog.com/energy-services/water-assistance/. A paper application can be mailed upon request by calling 903-813-3541, option 2.

The Utilities Department is responsible for water operations, and wastewater operations in the City of Pottsboro, including: providing for adequate, high quality water supply; treating and distributing potable water; collecting all wastewater discharged to sanitary sewer systems; and transporting and treating all wastewater prior to discharging it into the environment.
